Maskin Welfare Foundation, established in January 2020, is a registered non-profit and non-governmental organization based in West Bengal (Kolkata) and is working in the field of community development, child welfare, education and health camp. Education is both the means as well as the end to a better life; the means because it empowers an individual to earn his/her livelihood and the end because it increases one’s awareness on a range of issue.
It is an environment friendly socio-economic cultural development organization, has been working on improvement of life and livelihoods of disadvantages people in West Bengal. Our sincere efforts are all - inclusive with services in the sector of education, health care, old age care social and economic empowerment, food and livelihood security, water and sanitation.

Our Vision is to make a nation where all children will have the opportunity to attain an excellent education and where all people have pathways to health and opportunity.
Charity is a supreme virtue, and the great channel through which the mercy of God is passed onto the mankind. Hence, we aim to empower underprivileged children, youth and women through education, healthcare and livelihood programs.

Our mission is to educate children, provide healthcare and feed the poorer sector with the basic necessity of food. In India, more than 268 million people are illiterate out of which 17.7 million children in India are currently out of school. The mission of Maskin Welfare Foundation is to identify such out-of-school children from remote villages, tribal areas and urban slums and to provide them with quality education.
In this global pandemic situation where the whole world is suffering we have come forward with the helping hands by providing the basic necessity to make their livelihood possible by distributing free food, mask and sanitizer’s.
Our Work
Maskin Welfare Foundation works for the betterment of street children and poor families from the lives of pain, abuse and poverty. We strongly believe that every child has the right to receive education. It is the key of building an independent, successful life and gives a child a better chance of escaping poverty. Hence for this noble cause, we have also set up an English medium school in Bolpur in Birbhum district in the state of West Bengal, India. Beside this, the health care sector in India is plagued with poorer infrastructures, high-costs, long wait times and high cost treatment. While 68.84% of the Indian population resides in rural areas, only 3% of medical professionals are available in these areas. We are also setting up a multi cuisine hospital in Bolpur in Bhirbhum district, West Bengal, India to solve the problem of the people to some extent.
Covid -19
Homeless are hardly aware of the dangerous of Coronavirus and the solutions available to fight against it. The current Coronavirus outbreak continues to spread, with the growing number of confirmed cases in India. This makes lakhs of homeless living on the streets with the lack of ability to self-quarantine, access to medical care acutely vulnerable. Maskin Welfare Foundation is providing all necessary help and services to this vulnerable section of the society by distributing free masks, sanitizers, food and many more.
